As we wrap up 2025, I have been reflecting on what has been one of the most meaningful years since starting Beam Health. Not because of the growth metrics (though we certainly felt those), but because of what that growth represents: more clinicians getting time back in their day, more practices operating with less friction, and more proof that a better infrastructure for healthcare is absolutely possible.
When we started Beam, it was with a simple belief: clinicians do not need more tools. They need technology that quietly works in the background, connecting systems, reducing clicks, and giving them space to focus on care. This year felt like a major step toward that vision.
From AI Scribe to a full suite of AI Agents
What began as an AI Scribe has expanded into a set of AI Agents that now support intake, documentation, billing, growth, and tech support. We introduced new capabilities like our Revenue Agent, Growth Agent, and Support Agent, each one built to remove something repetitive or frustrating from someone’s day. Hearing a 22-provider clinic tell us, “Beam has been transformative for our practice” was one of those moments that reminded me why we are doing this.
We also deepened our work across specialties including Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Dentistry, Nephrology, and more. We partnered with teams like Keragon to bring end-to-end automation to specialty clinics and surgical centers. The broader industry momentum around ambient AI and workflow automation has reinforced that connected, intelligent infrastructure is where healthcare is headed.
Looking ahead to 2026
Looking to 2026, we are excited for what is ahead: new AI capabilities, deeper integrations, a Medical Advisory Board to guide responsible scaling, and a collaboration with athenahealth that will bring Beam’s automation directly into the athenaOne ecosystem.
To everyone who has supported us this year, thank you. We are proud of how far we have come and even more excited for what comes next.
